Filming summary
On the 28th February, my colleagues and I finished our film opening. In total, it took five days to record and now we are currently editing the opening using the software Final Cut pro. This is an excellent software for modifying scenes and using techniques such as Match cuts and Jump cuts. As seen on the video blogs, me and the other members of group 36 really enjoyed filming throughout the five days. We covered many type of shots like close ups and long shots, used a large amount of match cuts and had fun while doing so. If I were to repeat this task, I would probably spend more time being careful of the mise en scene as some things were slightly dodgy in the first scene where I am lying on the bench. Overall the experience was fantastic and very fun indeed, we successful achieved all the shots we wanted and constructed a firm and solid opening to our film. Over this upcoming week, we will be uploading some bloopers during the recordings, just to show how much fun we had over the task.
